Kavanaugh a hero and new symbol for men’s rights

While men’s rights groups have existed since the late 19th century, they’ve never gained widespread support – until now – and the new face of that movement is Brett Kavanaugh.

“Brett Kavanaugh is a hero. I implore our Republican congressmen to confirm him, NOW,” Candace Owens, communications director for Turning Point USA, said on Twitter, adding: “Kavanaugh has me on the brink of tears.”

Democrats disrespectful treatment, character assassination and outright conviction of Judge Brett Kavanaugh has turned public sentiment against them, ignited the Republican base just ahead of the mid-terms and elevated Kavanaugh to hero status for standing up to the morally-bankrupt behavior of Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee.

“The anger that he showed … the frustration, the anxiety, indeed the tears, the raw emotion, was what a lot of voters – I think a silent majority – wanted to see,” conservative commentator S.E. Cupp said Thursday. “Their anger was reflected by Brett Kavanaugh.”

Talk show host Rush Limbaugh remarked on his Friday show that a huge number of women had contacted him saying that they fear for their sons after what the Democrats are doing. They worry that their boys could have their lives ruined by a woman with an agenda who makes false claims of sexual misconduct. Claims are all it takes to ruin a man’s life now. You don’t need evidence, witnesses or even a credible story – just an accusation. A mother of four boys called in and summed up what many are thinking:

CALLER: Hi, Rush. I am very concerned about this weaponizing of sexuality by the left. I’m sitting here watching the poisoning of our culture by something I’m starting to think of as toxic femininity, only we’re not allowed to say that sometimes women do hurt men. You know, when women use their femininity or — I’m just gonna say it — their sexuality to manipulate, to control, to subjugate men, that’s wrong. And it’s toxic.

CALLER: I’m sitting here watching the poisoning of our culture by something I’m starting to think of as toxic femininity, only we’re not allowed to say that sometimes women do hurt men. You know, when women use their femininity or — I’m just gonna say it — their sexuality to manipulate, to control, to subjugate men, that’s wrong. And it’s toxic.

RUSH: Right. Around the wrong women, they’re guilty for simply being alive.

CALLER: Yes. Yes. It’s diabolical, and it’s pitting men and women against each other…

Men know that there is always danger where their careers and women intersect. Famously, Mike Pence said he never takes a meeting one-on-one with a woman to avoid even the appearance of impropriety. I’ve known many men in my past jobs that took similar, if not more drastic, precautions against being named in a false sexual harassment claim.

The politically-driven beat-down of Brett Kavanaugh is an example of toxic femininity and its fruits. This is using #metoo as a weapon and it marginalizes the true victims of sexual violence.

“As a sex abuse survivor, you feel marginalized your whole life – like no one is listening to you,” Christian writer Nancy French told Time. “But as the senators interrupted her testimony to grandstand every five minutes, it slowly dawned on me that the culture holds sex abuse survivors in less esteem than I thought. They perceive us to be less than nothing … We are political pawns, elevated when we fit the narrative, ignored when we don’t.”

Not only do true victims of sexual violence see through the political games that Democrats were playing, but the American public is also starting to take stock of the left’s antics.

“I think the American people saw for the first time, really saw what was happening to this man, what was happening to Judge Kavanaugh and his family,” Fox News contributor Sara Carter said. “When we hear this man cry out and say, look at what you have done to my family. Look at what you’ve done to our nation. Is this what we’re going to do to each other? I think at that point the country took a step back and people were swayed by Kavanaugh.”

Watching an honest man, a good father and an admired jurist get bullied by progressive b.s. has elevated Kavanaugh to hero status.

“At this point, Kavanaugh isn’t just a Supreme Court nominee. He is a folk hero to many people, an inspiration to millions,” Fox News host Tucker Carlson said Friday. “People who have spent the last two years being browbeaten and bullied by their moral inferiors were buoyed by what he said yesterday.”

When nothing is found in the FBI investigation next week, Kavanaugh will be confirmed to the Supreme Court and honored as a hero of men. And, millions of Americans will have seen the true colors of Congressional Democrats and Jeff Flake.

While Flake isn’t running again, the Democrats hoping for a blue wave in November may be in for some surprise after what they did to Brett Kavanaugh.
